RecSol Recovery SolutionsPosition Description: Are you an accomplished pharmacy executive ready to shape medication strategy, clinical quality, and pharmacy operations across a complex, multi-site healthcare organization? Recovery Solutions is seeking a Vice President of Pharmacy Services to provide enterprise leadership and strategic oversight for pharmacy services across the organization. This leadership role is responsible for advancing pharmacy operations, medication management, regulatory compliance, formulary strategy, purchasing, financial performance, and continuous quality improvement across multiple facilities and programs. As the organization's senior pharmacy leader and subject matter expert, the Vice President of Pharmacy Services will partner closely with executive leadership, the Chief Clinical Officer, medical leadership, facility administrators, and pharmacy teams to develop and execute strategies that promote safe, clinically appropriate, compliant, and cost-effective medication management. The ideal candidate combines deep inpatient pharmacy expertise with executive leadership, regulatory knowledge, financial acumen, and the ability to translate clinical and operational data into enterprise strategy. What You'll Do Provide executive leadership, strategic direction, and enterprise oversight for pharmacy services across Recovery Solutions facilities and programs. Develop and execute an enterprise pharmacy strategy aligned with clinical priorities, organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and financial goals. Establish consistent pharmacy operating standards, corporate directives, policies, procedures, and governance practices across the organization. Monitor pharmacy operations, medication utilization, quality indicators, financial performance, and emerging trends to identify enterprise risks and opportunities. Partner with executive leadership to evaluate medication utilization and pharmacy expenditures and develop strategies to improve clinical and financial performance. Provide strategic oversight of pharmacy budgets, purchasing, inventory management, medication sourcing, and cost-containment initiatives. Partner with Medical Executive Directors, Medical Directors, and the Chief Clinical Officer to develop evidence-based medication guidelines and promote clinically appropriate medication utilization. Lead enterprise formulary strategy, including evaluation of medication utilization, clinical effectiveness, additions and deletions, standardization opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives. Monitor organizational compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws, regulatory requirements, licensing standards, and professional practice requirements across applicable jurisdictions. Provide enterprise oversight of accreditation readiness and compliance with applicable standards, including The Joint Commission (TJC), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and other accrediting organizations. Conduct and oversee routine assessments of facility pharmacy operations and medication storage practices, identifying risks and developing corrective action strategies. Provide executive-level pharmacy consultation and support during regulatory, client, and accreditation surveys and site visits. Oversee pharmacy Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs, evaluate performance trends, and ensure identified opportunities result in sustainable corrective actions. Provide clinical pharmacy leadership through medication-use evaluation, drug regimen review, and pharmacotherapeutic consultation on complex cases when appropriate. Lead the corporate Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee and establish effective pharmacy governance across applicable facility-level committees.
