The Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) is an integral member of both the Residential and Americas Region ISC Leadership teams and serves as a key operations strategy partner. This Leader will have strategic accountability to plan, organize, staff and direct all activities of multiple facilities within the region to achieve plant and sector goals for safety, quality, growth, profitability, productivity, customer satisfaction and employee engagement. This key role will also direct production and plant operations across these sites to ensure the effective utilization of resources as well as continue to assess footprint to ensure long-range capacity and competitiveness are being achieved. The position is responsible for leading operations partnerships around manufacturing strategy, annual and long-range financial planning including investments and operational across the multi-site plant portfolio for the business. Under their leadership, they will be key in the implementation of manufacturing and ISC transformations for the business. The position is a direct report to the President of the Residential Business Unit with a matrix relationship to the Regional VP of Integrated Supply Chain Americas. Principal Responsibilities Serve as a strategic partner for the Residential and Americas ISC Leadership Teams as well as their respective plants leadership teams to enable operations solutions to best drive and deliver business growth, operational effectiveness, and productivity targets Provide strategic leadership and oversight across multiple locations, for functions including Manufacturing, Materials, Production Control, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Planning, Human Resources, Accounting, Manufacturing, Engineering and Environmental, Health & Safety to assure common direction toward plant goals Across respective sites under their leadership, effectively guide and support both Environmental Health & Safety(EHS) programs and practices, as well as plant quality systems in procedures and controls to improve customer satisfaction, quality, first pass yield and warranty results Across respective sites under their leadership, effectively guide and support plant maintenance, facilities and Manufacturing Engineering improvements, process modifications, facility improvements and capital expenditures, and plant resources in meeting material and labor productivity plans Be proactive and responsive to all facets of customer satisfaction including delivery, schedule changes and special instructions Serve as a Lean Leader that insists on a continuous improvement and simplification approach to important processes. Lead through the Trane Technologies Business Operating System (BOS) Direct the development and submittal of the Annual Operating Plan and business financial forecasts and response plans for their respective plant portfolio Partner with the Operational Excellence team to develop and deliver training on a lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices, including structured problem solving, leader coaching, Kanban/pull systems, Kaizen, value stream mapping, visual management, mistake-proofing,…
