VP, Associate General Counsel (Supply Chain/E-Commerce)
LaddersFor our client, we are seeking a VP, Associate General Counsel (Supply Chain/E-Commerce) to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will serve as a senior legal partner across supply chain and e-commerce activities, helping shape commercial agreements and day-to-day decision-making in a mission-driven organization. The position will advise business and compliance stakeholders on regulatory issues, operational risk, and practical approaches to supporting growth and execution. It is well suited for a seasoned attorney who can balance legal judgment with business partnership in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to strengthen vendor relationships, support compliance, and anticipate legal developments that affect food law and online commerce. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $165,000 – $200,000 annually Responsibilities Lead negotiation and execution of commercial agreements related to supply chain and e-commerce Advise on compliance and regulatory requirements Provide legal counsel on operational and strategic business decisions Assess and mitigate legal and commercial risks Review regulatory developments affecting food law and e-commerce compliance Enhance collaboration between business, compliance, and innovation teams Oversee outside counsel for related legal matters Qualifications J.D. and active bar license in New York or another U.S. state Minimum 7 years of relevant legal experience, including both law firm and in-house experience 5+ years of experience in commercial contracting, supply chain, or related industries Experience drafting and negotiating vendor or supplier agreements, including CPG FDA regulatory experience in food labeling and allergen disclosures preferred Benefits 20 days of paid time off, 2 floating holidays, and 9 workplace holidays annually Paid holiday office closure between Christmas and New Year Medical and behavioral health coverage with options for families Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Company-paid life insurance Flexible work arrangements available 12 weeks of paid parental leave 401(K) plan with company match Short- and long-term disability coverage Health and wellness classes throughout the year Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
