Learn more: https://missingpiecessupportgroup.org PRIMARY PURPOSE The Program Manager – Care Package Operations oversees the entire lifecycle and operations of our Care Package Program in the Houston area. In this leadership position, you will manage logistics volunteers, streamline packing workflows, monitor metrics, and ensure high-quality delivery standards for grieving families. QUALIFICATIONS Enrolled student at a Houston-area college or university seeking leadership experience. Strong leadership, project management, and team coordination capabilities. Proficiency in Google Workspace, data tracking tools, and reporting. Excellent interpersonal skills and deep empathy for mission-driven work. Ideal for majors in Business Management, Public Health, Nonprofit Leadership, Social Work, or Sociology. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Program Supervision: Manage the full lifecycle of care package requests from initial intake to package delivery. Team Leadership: Lead and support the Care Package Logistics Coordinator and volunteer packing teams during assembly sessions. Process Improvement: Develop systems for quality control, fulfillment efficiency, and recipient feedback collection. Reporting & Collaboration: Report regularly on program outcomes, distribution metrics, and collaborate with outreach leads for local sponsorships. TIME COMMITMENT Volunteer role with flexible hours (estimated 4–6 hours per week) In person/Hybrid, with occasional virtual meetings as needed Ideal for individuals seeking experience in nonprofit development, fundraising operations, or admin support.
