Volunteer Center Manager

Volunteer Center Manager This position will establish a welcoming environment to all our community volunteers and visitors to the Volunteer Center. Support our organization’s mission, vision, and core values in order to assist our neighbors in need. Primary Responsibilities Include: · Support and partner with the volunteer coordinator · Supervise staff and maintain all records that pertain to the manager’s role- Payroll, hiring/ training and customer service standards · Maintain a safe and clean working environment · Maintain compliance with all safety standards- AIB, fire, OSHA and equipment standards · Maintain inventory controls within standards · Provide courteous, helpful and timely assistance to internal and external customers · Forecast product production · Work in a warehouse environment on a daily basis Requirements: · High School Diploma or equivalent required · Management and Customer service background; warehouse experience preferred · Computer Skills and Data entry experience, Proficient use of Outlook Applications · Strong teamwork with outstanding work ethic · Ability to work well with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds · Excellent communication skills both oral and written · Comfortable with speaking and educating groups on necessary information while enforcing rules and regulations · Valid driver’s license · Pass all required pre-employment tests Work Schedule: Full time position, hours are 8 am – 7 pm, Monday-Thursday and 4- Saturdays per year Reports to: Director of Facility- Elizabethtown Distribution Center Pay: $48,000.00 - $49,300.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
