Video Documentation Specialist - Hospital Inventory Project (Nov 1–14)

Z5 Inventory is hiring Video Documentation Specialists for a short-term project at hospitals in western Connecticut and New York’s Hudson Valley, running November 1 through November 14, 2026. What you’ll do You will work on site at a hospital alongside a small team, using a handheld camera and tablet to record the medical supplies in each department. You will film items on shelves and in storage rooms so the hospital has an accurate record of what it has on hand. You will follow a set process, keep your footage organized, and hand off your work at the end of each day. A project lead is on site with you the whole time. No medical background is needed. We train you on the process. What we’re looking for Comfortable holding a camera steady and following a repeatable process for a full shift Able to be on your feet, reach shelves, and work in tight storage spaces Reliable and on time, every day of the project Professional around hospital staff and patients Able to commit to the full run, November 1 through 14 Camera or video experience is a plus but not required. If you’ve done inventory, warehouse, retail stocking, or any detail-oriented hands-on work, you’ll pick this up fast. Pay and details $200 per day, guaranteed $50 per day meal allowance Mileage reimbursed for driving between sites Travel and hotel covered if you are coming from outside the area Important: hospital credentialing This project is inside hospital buildings, so everyone has to be approved by the hospital’s vendor system before the first day. That includes a background check and copies of your immunization records. The approval can take up to three weeks, so we are hiring and processing people immediately. You will need records showing TB test, MMR, TDAP, and Varicella (chickenpox) . If you don’t have copies on hand, your doctor’s office, your state immunization registry, or your old college health center can usually pull them. This is required to be considered for this project.
