Position Overview

We are seeking a Vice President, Supply Chain Execution to lead and optimize our end-to-end logistics network. This executive will oversee multi-site warehouse operations, private fleet transportation, and third-party logistics providers to deliver best-in-class service, strong inventory accuracy, and scalable growth. This role is ideal for a hands-on strategic leader who can translate operational excellence into financial performance, service reliability, and margin improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all distribution centers and plant warehouse operations across the network
  • Drive operational performance across key metrics including service level, inventory accuracy, productivity, and safety
  • Improve inventory integrity through cycle counting, root-cause analysis, and system discipline
  • Oversee private fleet operations, carrier relationships, and freight spend optimization
  • Manage and govern 3PL providers, contracts, and performance expectations
  • Design long-term network strategy including facility footprint, capacity planning, and expansion
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to improve OTIF performance and reduce chargebacks
  • Optimize labor productivity, staffing plans, and automation investments
  • Own the logistics P&L, annual budget, and cost improvement initiatives
  • Champion a strong safety and compliance culture (DOT, OSHA, food safety)
  • Build and develop a high-performing supply chain leadership team
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership in logistics, warehousing, and transportation
  • Experience leading multi-site distribution networks
  • Background in food & beverage, CPG, or regulated manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Experience managing private fleet and 3PL operations
  • Strong working knowledge of WMS, TMS, and ERP systems
  • Proven financial ownership, including budgeting and P&L management
  • Experience with network optimization or supply chain analytics is a plus
