Vice President of Procurement
BBTech LabsRole Description The Vice President of Procurement is a part-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procurement strategy and operations for BBTech Labs. This role includes developing and implementing procurement policies, managing supplier selection and evaluation, and ensuring that sourcing decisions align with business objectives, budget requirements, and compliance standards. The Vice President of Procurement will lead contract negotiations with key vendors and partners, optimize supplier relationships, and collaborate closely with finance, legal, technology, and operations teams to support project delivery. Day-to-day activities involve reviewing and approving procurement requests, monitoring supplier performance, mitigating supply chain risks, and driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery. The role also includes building scalable procurement processes that support the company’s growth in the digital asset and crypto ecosystem. Qualifications Strong expertise in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, with a proven ability to design and manage strategic sourcing processes. Demonstrated skills in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management, including experience managing complex vendor agreements and service-level commitments. Experience in Supplier Development, including onboarding, performance management, and long-term partnership building. Background in technology, fintech, or digital assets is highly beneficial, particularly experience with regulatory and compliance requirements in these sectors. Leadership experience in a senior procurement or operations role, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives. Strong analytical, financial, and risk management skills, with proficiency in using data to inform procurement decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
