Precept Investor RelationsRole Description The Vice President of Procurement is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading procurement strategy and operations to support Precept Investor Relations’ growth and client service. This position oversees sourcing of vendors and partners, manages end-to-end purchasing processes, and ensures cost-effective, high-quality goods and services across technology, data, and professional services. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing procurement policies, negotiating contracts and agreements, optimizing supplier performance, and aligning procurement activities with business objectives and compliance standards. The Vice President of Procurement collaborates closely with finance, operations, and client teams to forecast demand, manage budgets, mitigate supply risks, and support scalable, sustainable service delivery. The role also involves continuous process improvement, leveraging data and tools to enhance efficiency, and mentoring team members or external partners involved in procurement activities. Qualifications Strong expertise in Procurement and Supply Chain Management to design and lead sourcing strategies, purchasing processes, and cost optimization initiatives. Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management to secure favorable terms, manage risk, and maintain compliant, up-to-date agreements. Experience in Supplier Development and performance management to build reliable vendor relationships, improve service levels, and ensure continuity of supply. Demonstrated leadership in strategic procurement within professional services, finance, or technology-driven environments. Ability to use data analytics and procurement tools to monitor spend, identify opportunities, and support decision-making. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and external partners. Proven track record of operating effectively in a remote, fast-paced, and growth-oriented organization. Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage.
