Position Summary We are seeking an energetic, seasoned, and strategic Vice President of Operations to lead our global supply chain, manufacturing operations, quality assurance, logistics, and operational scaling initiatives. As RealSense enters a thrilling new chapter of corporate growth—bolstered by major strategic expansion and integration with industry giants—you will play a vital leadership role in scaling our hardware and software operational backbone. In this role, you will optimize end-to-end supply chain resilience, oversee contract manufacturing (CM/ODM) partnerships, manage component sourcing for advanced semiconductors and optical sensors, and ensure world-class product quality as we meet surging global demand for Physical AI solutions. Key Responsibilities Global Supply Chain & Procurement Strategy: Lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy, including procurement, supplier relationship management, inventory control, and global logistics for specialized optical and semiconductor components. Build a resilient, scalable, and cost-effective supplier ecosystem, mitigating risks related to electronic component shortages and geopolitical shifts. Manufacturing Operations & Quality Assurance: Manage relationships with tier-1 contract manufacturers (CMs) and original design manufacturers (ODMs), ensuring strict adherence to production timelines, yield targets, and cost efficiencies. Oversee rigorous quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards for high-precision 3D cameras and depth-sensing hardware. New Product Introduction (NPI) & Scaling: Partner closely with R&D, product management, and hardware engineering teams to drive seamless New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype to mass production. Scale operational infrastructure to support rapid product volume expansion across industrial robotics, consumer tech, and enterprise automation markets. Post-Merger / Corporate Integration & Operational Synergy: Play a pivotal operational leadership role in aligning supply chain, IT, and enterprise systems during strategic corporate milestones and integration phases (e.g., post-acquisition synergies with parent/partner ecosystems). Implement robust operational metrics, ERP systems upgrades, and dashboard tracking to drive data-backed decision-making. Team Leadership & Organizational Development: Build, mentor, and inspire a world-class global operations team spanning the US, Asia-Pacific, and European manufacturing hubs. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, sustainability, and cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration; MBA or advanced engineering degree preferred. Experience: 12+ years of progressive operational leadership experience within high-tech hardware, semiconductor, robotics, or consumer/industrial electronics industries . Proven track record of managing global contract manufacturing (CM/EMS) networks, complex component sourcing, and scaling hardware production from millions to tens of millions of units. Direct experience in post-merger integration, corporate restructuring, or scaling carve-out entities is a major plus.
