Vice President of Global Supply Chain

Vice President of Global Supply Chain Location: Remote – United States Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Global Supply Chain / Operations Reports To: Chief Operating Officer / Chief Executive Officer About the Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Global Supply Chain to lead the company’s global supply chain strategy, planning, procurement, logistics, and operational performance. This executive role will be responsible for developing a reliable and scalable supply chain organization that supports business objectives, customer requirements, cost management, and operational continuity. The Vice President will work closely with executive leadership and teams across operations, finance, sales, product, manufacturing, and other functions to align supply chain capabilities with the company’s needs. The ideal candidate is a strong supply chain leader with global experience, sound commercial judgment, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to improve processes while managing complex supplier and logistics networks. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute the company’s global supply chain strategy in alignment with business objectives. • Lead supply planning, procurement, sourcing, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and related supply chain functions. • Establish supply chain performance goals, operating standards, processes, and key performance indicators. • Develop effective demand and supply planning processes to support customer requirements and business forecasts. • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, and other business partners. • Lead supplier selection, evaluation, performance management, and strategic sourcing initiatives. • Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, capacity, cost, and overall business continuity. • Develop inventory strategies that balance customer requirements, working capital, availability, and operational efficiency. • Oversee transportation, warehousing, distribution, and logistics activities across relevant markets. • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, cost structure, service levels, and operational reliability. • Develop and maintain appropriate supply chain risk management and business continuity plans. • Partner with finance to develop budgets, cost models, working capital plans, and supply chain performance analysis. • Collaborate with sales, operations, product, and other teams to improve demand visibility and planning accuracy. • Establish supply chain reporting and analytics to provide leadership with clear visibility into performance and emerging issues. • Lead supply chain technology, systems, and process improvement initiatives where appropriate. • Recruit, develop, mentor, and manage supply chain leaders and teams. • Establish a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational discipline. • Provide regular supply chain performance updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership. Qualifications • 12+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, operations, logistics, or a related field. • Significant experience leading global or multi-region supply chain organizations. • Demonstrated experience managing procurement, sourcing, planning, inventory, logistics, and supplier relationships. • Strong understanding of global supply chain planning, supplier management, logistics, inventory optimization, and operational risk. • Experience developing and implementing supply chain strategies that support business growth and operational requirements. • Strong analytical and financial skills, including experience with cost analysis, budgets, working capital, and performance metrics. • Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills. • Strong leadership and team development capabilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to collabor…
