United Leasing & FinanceDescription: Join our dynamic team as the Vice President of Fleet Management, a pivotal leadership role responsible for steering the strategic direction, operational readiness, and financial performance of our fleet financing programs and fleet management software solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the entire lifecycle of our fleet vehicles, from acquisition and maintenance to disposal, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the organization. Key Responsibilities Include: Develop and execute strategic plans for the company's fleet management software, aligning with customer and company goals and industry best practices. Develop reporting dashboards that meet customer and management needs. Facilitate the onboarding of fleet customers through training, ongoing support, and regular check-ins. Grow our fleet financing portfolio. Manage financial performance of fleet financing programs, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize vehicle lifecycle processes and implement innovative fleet technologies. Lead negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure favorable terms and maintain high service standards. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve fleet operations and customer offerings Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to fleet management Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the fleet management team Skills and Qualifications Include: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field 8+ years of proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation leadership, with a track record of strategic planning and operational excellence, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, financial analysis, and cost reduction initiatives Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments Knowledge of fleet management software, telematics, and emerging fleet technologies Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement innovative solutions Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement We foster a collaborative and innovative culture that values growth, leadership, and excellence.
