Our mission is the construction and management of state-of-the-art data centers with the precision and reliability this industry demands. From high-end engineers to seasoned professionals, we deploy the people you need to get your data center off the ground. At Overwatch, it's more than a job. Its purpose. Role purpose The VP will build and run the operating engine behind DCAC so the President can focus on industry vision, strategic relationships, major partnerships, and other high value work. This role combines the creative judgment of a live event producer with the business discipline to build systems, manage budgets, set accountability, and develop a team that can scale. The VP turns ideas into clear plans, aligns staff and vendors, protects the DCAC brand and economics, and delivers events without requiring the President to manage every detail. Why the role is needed: DCAC has grown beyond a single event. The platform includes the U.S. and European conferences, On Tour events, executive gatherings, partner activations, veteran programming, and future formats. The VP will help DCAC grow while preserving its distinct community and experience, replacing last minute heroics with planning and repeatable execution. What the VP owns: Event portfolio and production: Lead planning and delivery of DCAC USA, DCAC Europe, On Tour, VIP programs, dinners, golf, partner activations, and special experiences from concept through closeout. Business operations: Establish the annual operating calendar, planning cadence, decision structure, documentation, approval gates, and cross-functional workflows. Budgets and commercial discipline: Build event budgets and forecasts; manage cash flow, procurement, bids, change controls, and reconciliations; protect margins while investing where it improves the guest or sponsor experience. Team leadership: Lead and develop operations and production staff. Clarify ownership, set expectations, balance workloads, and identify capability gaps across employees, contractors, agencies, and local partners. Vendors and venues: Lead sourcing, negotiation, contracting, scopes of work, schedules, venue relationships, and supplier performance across production, security, transportation, registration, catering, talent, and staffing. Program integration: Turn content vision into a workable run of show and coordinate speakers, sponsors, creative, marketing, registration, hospitality, and production across the attendee journey. Risk and readiness: Own production readiness, safety planning, insurance and compliance coordination, contingency plans, escalation paths, and go/no-go criteria. Raise risks early with recommendations. Executive leverage: Resolve routine operating matters independently. Bring the President decisions with context, options, financial impact, a recommendation, and a deadline. Post-event improvement: Lead after-action reviews, financial closeout, partner and attendee feedback, vendor scorecards, and follow-through on lessons learned. Expected outcomes The President is no longer the default owner of production details, vendor issues, schedule changes, or internal follow-up. Each event has one integrated plan for budget, scope, owners, dependencies, deadlines, risks, communications, and contingencies. The team understands who decides, who executes, and when to escalate. Budgets and commitments are visible early, changes are controlled, and reconciliation happens promptly. DCAC feels personal and unconventional to sponsors, speakers, venues, vendors, and guests while remaining organized. New events, markets, and formats can use a repeatable operating model. The event team becomes calmer…
