Oversee the management of distribution centers, transportation networks, and warehouse operations to ensure seamless product flow. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize delivery times, reduce costs, and enhance service quality across all distribution channels. Manage executive-level budgets for distribution activities, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Lead a high-performing team of senior managers and operational leaders through effective team development, coaching, and leadership practices. Utilize data-driven decision-making tools to analyze performance metrics, forecast trends, and implement strategic adjustments proactively. Negotiate contracts with logistics providers, vendors, and external partners to secure favorable terms that support operational excellence. Implement innovative technologies and process improvements to streamline operations and adapt swiftly to changing market conditions. Represent the organization in high-level negotiations and strategic planning sessions related to distribution expansion or transformation initiatives. Skills Proven management experience leading large-scale distribution or supply chain operations with a focus on strategic planning and operational excellence. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively across departments such as logistics, finance, sales, and executive leadership. Demonstrated ability in executive leadership roles with experience managing teams at senior levels including operational managers and directors. Expertise in project management methodologies for implementing complex initiatives within tight timelines and budgets. Deep understanding of business management principles including financial management, budgeting, process improvement, and operational efficiency. Excellent verbal communication skills suited for engaging with executives and external partners at the highest levels. Skilled in data analysis tools for making informed decisions based on performance metrics and market trends. Strategic thinker capable of developing long-term plans aligned with organizational goals while managing day-to-day operations effectively. Experience in negotiation with vendors, carriers, or external stakeholders to secure advantageous agreements.
