Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care Collect and process laboratory samples, ensuring accurate testing and timely results Prepare animals for procedures by administering medications, setting up equipment, and maintaining sterile environments Monitor anesthesia, vital signs, and recovery processes to ensure patient safety throughout treatments Maintain detailed medical records, update patient histories, and document all procedures thoroughly Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and wellness plans Support inventory management by stocking supplies, sterilizing instruments, and ordering necessary materials Qualifications Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable to support diagnostic testing procedures Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and pet owners Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and their well-being Certification or licensing as a veterinary technician or assistant is preferred but not required; relevant experience will be considered Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift moderate weights throughout the shift Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals and their families!
