Vendor Specialist/Coordinator

As a Vendor Specialist/Coordinator, you will serve as an important link between site operations, vendors, and internal stakeholders, helping to ensure contractor management processes run smoothly while supporting the financial and procurement functions that keep the facility operating efficiently. This Monday through Friday day-shift opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that directly supports scientific innovation and critical business operations. In this role, you will review contractor status and compliance within company systems, assist with purchasing activities, support invoice receiving and processing, and perform financial reviews to help maintain budget accuracy and vendor accountability. What You'll Do: Review and maintain contractor records, status updates, certifications, and compliance documentation within vendor management systems. Conduct routine financial reviews and audits to support budget tracking, cost control, and operational reporting. Analyze vendor-related expenditures and assist with identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies. Support purchasing activities by creating, tracking, and managing purchase orders in accordance with established procedures. Partner with site operations teams to facilitate smooth day-to-day vendor coordination and support critical business needs. Confirm that work is complete, equipment is fully functional and client space is in prime working condition. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. What You'll Need: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
