Purchasing Program Manager (Canada) Location: Canada (Remote/Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized Purchasing Program Manager to support procurement operations, vendor management, and purchasing programs across the organization. This role will serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring the efficient procurement of products and services while maintaining data integrity across purchasing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong purchasing and vendor management experience, advanced Excel skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and experience working with procurement and CRM platforms such as Ivalua and Salesforce . The ability to identify trends, recognize patterns, troubleshoot system issues, and drive process improvements is critical to success in this role. Key Responsibilities Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for both products and professional services. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communications, issue resolution, and ongoing supplier performance management. Support purchasing programs and procurement initiatives to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Analyze purchasing data and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement. Perform spreadsheet uploads, mass data loads, and data maintenance activities within procurement systems. Investigate and correct purchasing, supplier, and system-related failures or exceptions. Monitor vendor compliance, pricing, contracts, and service-level commitments. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and facilitate purchasing requests. Utilize pattern recognition and analytical skills to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions. Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and contract terms with vendors. Maintain accurate vendor and procurement records within Ivalua, Salesforce, and related systems. Generate reports, dashboards, and procurement metrics using Excel and other reporting tools. Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance procurement efficiency and data quality. Assist with supplier onboarding, purchase order processes, and procurement workflow management.
