Canada Local is looking for motivated Vendor Onboarding Managers to bring local businesses onto our Canadian marketplace. You will recruit vendors, help them get ready to sell, and support the businesses you onboard. Build your own vendor portfolio within Canada Local and earn from the sales those businesses generate, with additional earnings when you deliver their orders. How you earn - Sales commission: Receive 40% of Canada Local’s marketplace fee on eligible completed sales from vendors you personally onboard. - Delivery earnings: When your onboarded vendor requests Canada Local delivery and you complete it, receive 100% of the delivery charge collected, excluding sales tax. - Both on the same order: Earn your eligible sales commission plus the delivery payment when you handle that order’s delivery. Example: A vendor you onboard makes a $50 sale. If Canada Local’s marketplace fee is 10% ($5), you earn $2. If you also complete an $8 delivery, your total earnings for that order are $10. Figures exclude tax; fees and delivery charges vary. Onboarding is an essential part of this role. You will work only with vendors you personally recruit and successfully onboard, subject to Canada Local’s approval. What you will do - Find and approach grocers, butchers, bakeries, convenience stores, specialty retailers, wholesalers and suppliers. - Introduce Canada Local and explain how the marketplace works. - Help vendors register, complete store profiles and prepare product listings. - Support your onboarded vendors with listings, orders and questions. - Complete agreed local deliveries for your vendors when requested. - Keep accurate records and share feedback with the Canada Local team. Who we are looking for You are approachable, organised and comfortable starting conversations with business owners. You follow through, enjoy building relationships and can work independently. You should have: - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - Confidence using websites, smartphones and basic online tools. - Reliable internet access and a smartphone. - Willingness to actively recruit and onboard vendors. - Legal authorisation to work in Canada. Sales, retail, customer service, delivery or small-business experience is an asset. Additional languages and existing local business connections are welcome. For delivery work, you will need a suitable vehicle, a valid driver’s licence and insurance covering the delivery activity. Why join Canada Local?
