Vendor Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Vendor Manager to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This remote role will oversee vendor relationships and performance within critical facility operations, with a strong focus on supporting data center environments. The position partners closely with Operations teams to ensure service providers are aligned with facility priorities, contract expectations, and service quality standards. Success in this role will come from building strong vendor accountability, improving process discipline, and protecting operational continuity across assigned sites. Location: Remote Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 annually Responsibilities Lead weekly meetings with Operations teams to review vendor performance and resolve issues. Maintain proactive communication with Operations teams to align vendor management with operational priorities. Establish and optimize relationships with third-party vendors supporting data center systems. Serve as the primary contact for all vendors within assigned facilities. Monitor vendor compliance with contracts and performance standards. Track vendor performance metrics, including work order completion rates and service quality. Implement a warranty management program to maximize vendor service value. Qualifications 5-7 years of supervisory experience in a data center or critical facility environment. Hands-on experience with UPS, emergency generators, and switchgears. High School diploma or GED equivalent required; engineering experience preferred. Moderate knowledge of manual trades such as carpentry and electromechanical repair. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants and contractors. Benefits 401(k) plan with matching contributions.
