Vending machine Route driver

Job Overview As a Vending Machine Route Driver, you’ll keep vending machines stocked, clean, and ready for customers. You’ll drive an assigned route, transport products and supplies, and build professional and polite relationships with the locations you serve. This active role combines commercial driving, customer service, merchandising. Applicants should be prepared to lift and move products and follow safe lifting practices. This job is part time, however during the school year you will get 30 plus hours weekly. During the summer when school is out hours will decline as will any school related holidays or breaks. MUST BE ABLE TO GET ON MILITARY BASES. ALSO MUST BE ABLE TO GET INTO SCHOOLS AND JAILS. Duties Drive a route safely and on schedule, following applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company procedures. Load, transport, and replenish vending machines; rotate products, check freshness, and maintain clean, orderly displays. Review inventory and pricing, use basic knowledge of cellphone apps to track stock. Communicate with clients, address service needs, and build customer relationships through reliable, professional service. Maintain organized route, product, and service records. Your impact: Keeping machines stocked, and clean, Keep displays well maintained helps customers find the products they need and gives client locations dependable service. Skills Essential: Valid driving qualifications for assigned vehicles, safe driving habits, route driving ability, and familiarity with commercial driving or commercial truck driving. Essential: Basic math, attention to detail, organizational skills, and clear communication and client communication. Essential: Ability to lift and carry products using safe lifting practices. Preferred: Retail store experience, merchandising, pricing, sales. Preferred: Customer service experience and strengths in customer relationship building; familiarity with automobile transportation is also useful.
