Scope of Position This highly motivated individual, as part of the Value Stream team, will be responsible for all Value Stream operations, including developing associates, achieving manufacturing goals, managing budgets, driving performance, and making timely operational and employment decisions for team leaders and associates. This position is responsible for supervision of 35 direct reports. This position reports to the Value Stream Manager, will be fully onsite and based in Fort Worth, Texas. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Lead daily Value Stream operations and continuous improvement activities to achieve production goals, support AOP objectives, establish manufacturing priorities, coordinate with supply chain and off-shift leadership, and ensure on-time shipment of customer orders. Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives that improve productivity through continuous flow, pull systems, workload leveling, and waste reduction. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring adherence to standardized work, implementing corrective actions, maintaining safety compliance, and utilizing WPS, 5S, and quality tools to support visual management and problem-solving. Ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational effectiveness through regular audits and the implementation of preventive auditing processes. Foster a positive, accountable team environment by conducting regular team meetings, assigning responsibilities, and coordinating resources and support across departments. Facilitate tier meetings and employee engagement activities that encourage problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. Develop and maintain a cross-trained workforce through training plans and skills matrices that ensure operational flexibility and business continuity. Partner with site leadership to develop, execute, and measure future-state value stream initiatives and continuous improvement strategies. Manage employee performance through regular coaching, feedback, performance reviews, and recommendations related to development, advancement, and compensation. Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency) Travel Requirements: 5% Required Qualifications Two-year associate degree or equivalent 3+ years of supervisory experience and manufacturing accomplishments, including increasing responsibility and the execution of lean projects and teams of considerable size, scope and complexity. Demonstrated experience in managing costs, PC skills, manufacturing, inventory control and production planning. Demonstrated ability to lead and build effective teams to achieve objectives and results. Knowledge and experience in LEAN manufacturing and foundational lean/problem solving tools Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Knowledge of company policies, rules and regulations applying to area of responsibility Working knowledge of all manufacturing processes, equipment, parts and components in area of responsibility Knowledge of all environmental health and safety, quality and labor standards applying to area of responsibility Leadership and facilitation skills, problem solving and supervisory skills, and planning skills Understanding of and adherence to applicable …
