Value Stream Manager - Iron

Eaton’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager - Iron. This role is onsite at our GEIS Headquarters in Syracuse, NY. Relocation within the United States is provided for this position. The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: Managing multi-product line manufacturing operations in order to meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals across various shifts. They will develop shift supervisors and hourly employees through teaching, coaching, mentoring, and leadership. This person will manage, direct, plan and coordinate (through Manufacturing Supervisors, & Team Leads) the manufacturing activities of both foundry and machining sections to meet plant objectives, and sales goals. In this role you will: Work cross-functionally to create a robust value stream map for the Iron value stream and assigned product lines for both current and future state Lead a team of direct & indirect reports to implement improvements to efficiencies & productivity in the area Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to deliver a strategy for current and future business needs for these product lines Build capability of value stream group leaders/members to drive improvements & accountability Review existing processes/systems and drive implementation of improvements using lean CI tools Prepare the Profit Plan and manage costs within that Profit Plan Develop departmental performance targets & ensure KPIs are met Own the supply chain relationship, coordinating with both vendors and customers Perform other duties as assigned by direct manager Qualifications: Basic (Required) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
