Value Stream Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Value Stream Manager to lead manufacturing operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire value stream—driving production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and fostering continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes. Your leadership will empower cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, implement lean manufacturing principles, and utilize advanced production management systems to meet operational goals. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all activities within the value stream, including production planning, scheduling, and assembly operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and other manufacturing management tools to monitor production metrics, analyze data, and drive process improvements. Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to identify waste, streamline workflows, and enhance process efficiency. Manage production schedules using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Oversee quality control procedures to uphold product standards and compliance with industry regulations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading Kaizen events, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional communication efforts. Develop team leadership capabilities by mentoring supervisors and operators, promoting safety, engagement, and operational excellence across the supply chain. Qualifications Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of assembly processes and operations management. Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, MRP software, Microsoft Excel for data analysis, and supply chain analytics tools. Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma certification or experience preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively while fostering collaboration and communication. Knowledge of quality control standards, supply chain management practices, and process improvement techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making using Excel data analysis tools. Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field; advanced certifications such as Lean Management are a plus.
