Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers and specialized vehicles flatbeds, trucks to ensure timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in local driving routes, logistics cargo handling, and adherence to safety regulations will keep our operations running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while enjoying the satisfaction of delivering essential goods efficiently and responsibly. Please provide a picture of your drivers licenses. Responsibilities ensuring proper cargo securing. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checks on manual transmissions, brakes, lights, tires, and safety equipment. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route adjustments, delivery schedules, or issues encountered during transit. Ensure proper loading and unloading procedures are followed to prevent damage or accidents during freight handling. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols related to truck loading, and general driving practices to promote a safe work environment. Experience Valid CDL Class A and B license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving local deliveries. Familiarity with flatbed trucks, Experience in logistics cargo handling including load securing and weight distribution for various types of freight. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations regarding hours of service Ability to operate manual transmissions confidently in different vehicle types such as tractor-trailers. Prior experience with route driving using GPS navigation systems for efficient delivery planning.
