Utility Trailer Technician/Mechanic

Be part of a reputable company with a strong presence in the Utility Trailer industry, Four Acres Trailer Sales. Ideally, we are looking for at least 1-2 years of mechanical work experinence. However, would consider a recent Tech School Graduate or mechanical side jobs/DIY experience. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair utility trailer bodies, systems, and components. Maintain and adjust hubs and axles, replacing them when necessary. Inspect, service, and replace trailer parts, including tires. Check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Install equipment such as salt spreaders, hitches and wiring to customer vehicles. Test all systems and equipment to identify and resolve performance issues. Ensure trailers adhere to DOT road safety requirements. Complete company inspection reports and accurately document repairs. Communicate all findings and necessary repairs to the Service Department for approval. Become familiar with warranty related issues. Work with Parts and Sales effectively. Requirements: 1-2 years of proven mechanical background. Familiarity with all tools/parts required to perform job duties. Basic working knowledge of trailer/vehicle systems, including hydraulics, air brakes, and electrical systems. Good work ethic with flexibility, dependability and communication skills. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Valid Driver's License required.
