Duties Safely operate Class A commercial trucks in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies. Manage route driving schedules efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety standards. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance. Perform heavy lifting following safe lifting practices to load and unload vehicles, ensuring the security of transported items. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, route logs, and shipment records in line with DOT regulations. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially within retail or automobile transportation sectors. Exceptional communication skills for client interaction, route coordination, and team collaboration. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices. Familiarity with DOT regulations governing commercial vehicle operation and safety standards. Organizational skills to manage routes efficiently, keep accurate records, and handle multiple deliveries seamlessly.
