USPS Contract Mail Delivery Driver – Fannettsburg, PA Company: Austin Logistics LLC Location: Fannettsburg, PA 17221 Compensation: $23.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Saturday, approximately 8:15 AM–5:15 PM Position: Full-Time Contract Route Driver Anticipated Start: November 2, 2026 Job Description Austin Logistics LLC is seeking a dependable, experienced delivery driver to service a newly awarded United States Postal Service Highway Contract Route in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. This is a consistent, long-term delivery opportunity serving the communities of Fannettsburg, Willow Hill, Spring Run, and Dry Run. Compensation and Equipment Starting compensation of $23.00 per hour Company vehicle provided Company fuel card provided for authorized route fuel Consistent Monday–Saturday route No regularly scheduled Sunday or federal holiday service Paid route training Long-term contract opportunity Primary Responsibilities Report to the Fannettsburg Post Office at the scheduled starting time. Sort, organize, and case mail for delivery. Load and unload mail and packages. Deliver mail and packages to approximately 564 rural mailboxes. Complete required package scanning and USPS delivery documentation. Follow established postal routes and delivery schedules. Maintain security and confidentiality of all mail. Conduct routine vehicle safety inspections. Communicate delivery delays, equipment issues, and service concerns promptly. Qualifications Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to pass USPS-required background screening and fingerprinting. Reliable attendance and ability to perform in varying weather conditions. Comfortable driving rural roads throughout the year. Ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 70 pounds. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Previous USPS, Amazon, FedEx, UPS, or rural delivery experience preferred but not required.
