USPS Contract Mail Carrier (1099) – La Pine, Or $190 per day | 3+ Days per Week | Growth Opportunities | No Experience Required Priority Logistics Services is seeking 4 dependable independent contractor to deliver USPS mail on a contract route based in La Pine, Oregon. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, driving, and working outdoors. Schedule Monday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday. With Flexibility to work 6 days per week. Typically 3+ days per week Opportunity to switch scheduled days with the other carrier when needed Additional coverage days may be available Route length - 34 miles No Sundays or federal holidays Pay $190 per day Route typically takes approximately 5-8 hours once learned and organized efficiently Full daily rate is paid regardless of early completion Authorized additional mileage or trips are paid separately when applicable Requirements Reliable vehicle suitable for mail and package delivery (vans and large suvs preferred) Valid driver’s license and good driving record Ability to safely operate and maintain the delivery vehicle Reliable, punctual, organized, and self-motivated Comfortable working independently, driving frequently, and making multiple stops Able to safely handle mail and packages Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather Must meet applicable USPS contractor requirements Delivery or route experience is helpful but not required Duties Pick up, organize, and deliver USPS mail and packages Follow the assigned route accurately and efficiently Safely operate the delivery vehicle Maintain required route documentation Follow USPS and Priority Logistics procedures Report route issues, delays, or vehicle problems promptly Maintain professional conduct with postal employees and customers Growth Opportunities As Priority Logistics Services continues to grow, reliable contractors may have opportunities for additional days, route coverage, training, and other responsibilities.
