Overview Epic Chevrolet Cadillac is looking for a seasoned Used Car Acquisition Buyer. You’ll source and evaluate vehicles for purchase, balancing market pricing, vehicle condition, and inventory needs. You’ll use data and sound judgment to make purchasing decisions, negotiate with sellers, and maintain accurate acquisition records. We Offer Base pay $16.90 per hour with additional performance based bonuses under the dealerships written compensation plan Paid training and professional development Career advancement opportunities Supportive, team-oriented environment Statutory paid sick leave and other benefits as applicable Responsibilities Identify and acquire quality pre-owned vehicles Contact private sellers and follow up with vehicle acquisition leads Negotiate vehicle purchases within dealership's guidelines Evaluate vehicle condition, history, and market values Develop relationships with customer and potential sellers Maintain accurate records and acquisition documentation Meet established acquisition and performance goals Follow dealership procedures and applicable California DMV regulations Qualifications Strong communication and negotiation skills Motivated, dependable, and results-oriented Automotive experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills Valid drivers license for duties involving vehicle operation California DMV salesperson license required before performing duties that legally require licensure Pay: From $16.90 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
