Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a 26 ft Box Truck Driver, specializing in both interstate and intrastate (Over the Road, OTR) routes. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26 ft box truck on both interstate and intrastate routes, including OTR driving routes. Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo safety and security. Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes, monitor traffic conditions, and meet delivery schedules. Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations during all operations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance needs are addressed promptly. Document delivery details accurately, including load & unload records, delivery receipts, and route logs. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered during transit. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with box trucks on route driving. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials handling, and freight logistics cargo handling. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and safely. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous goods regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods transportation. Strong manual handling skills for loading/unloading freight efficiently and safely. Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time traffic updates Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service excellence. Required: At least one year of box truck driving experience. Required: Driving record must show no accidents, no DUI, and no moving violations. Compensation 25% of Gross Revenue The driver will receive 25 % of the gross revenue generated by the loads assigned to and completed by the driver , subject to the company's compensation agreement.
