URGENT Hiring: Shipping and Receiving Specialist/Lead

Overview As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you’ll keep goods moving accurately through warehouse operations. You’ll receive, inspect, record, stock, pick, pack, and ship orders while coordinating with carriers and internal teams. Your work supports reliable warehouse distribution and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities Receive and verify shipments; document quantities, condition, and discrepancies through data entry. Pick, pack, label, and stage orders; load and unload goods using equipment such as a forklift, order picker, or pallet jack when qualified. Maintain inventory accuracy through stocking, cycle counts, and inventory management procedures. Coordinate shipping logistics, prepare shipment records, and follow applicable trade compliance and international trade regulations. Your impact: Accurate shipment processing helps customers and coworkers receive the right products on time. Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of shipping procedures, documentation, and carrier requirements. Proficient in using computer systems and software applications. 3+ years of warehouse shipping experience preferred. 1+ year of experience in a lead role preferred. Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight carriers; domestic and international shipments. Essential: Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management, picking and packing, and basic math. Preferred: Experience with a warehouse management system, inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Preferred: Microsoft Office and experience with logistics, warehouse distribution, order picking, packaging, and shipping logistics. Ability to learn site procedures and safely use relevant material-handling equipment; forklift experience a plus. Physical Requirements Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and pallet stackers preferred. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs.; assisted lifting equipment available when required. Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed. Pay: From $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
