We are customer-centric, autonomous, and inclusive. Our goal is to overcome barriers by earning trust, demonstrating integrity, and empowering our employees with opportunities for sustainable growth and comprehensive benefits. Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, compliance, and safety of our delivery fleet. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our vehicles—including Rivian Electric Delivery Vehicles (EDVs) , Ford Transits , and RAM ProMasters —road-ready, safe, and fully compliant with Amazon and DOT standards. You will bridge the gap between daily operations, vehicle maintenance, and driver safety to ensure zero operational downtime. Key Responsibilities 1. Fleet Maintenance & Repair Management Routine & Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for all gas and electric vehicles (oil changes, tire rotations, tire patches/plugs, brake checks, battery checks, fluid top-offs). In-House & Light Body Repairs: Perform light maintenance and minor repairs in-house (e.g., replacing mirrors, wipers, bulbs, fuses, trim pieces, camera troubleshooting/adjustments, and minor cosmetic/paint touch-ups). Vendor & Shop Management: Coordinate major mechanical, electrical, and structural repairs with authorized third-party vendors and warranty service providers (including Rivian Service Centers). Manage repair quotes, timelines, and invoices to minimize vehicle down-time (VOD - Vehicle Out of Service). EV Infrastructure: Monitor and manage EV charging equipment, cables, and station infrastructure to ensure all Rivian EDVs are properly charged for daily dispatch. 2. Amazon Fleet Compliance & Inspections Daily Inspections (DVIC): Audit and enforce Daily Vehicle Inspection Checks (DVIC) completed by Delivery Associates via Amazon software (e.g., Cortex, Viki, Slack, DVIC/UVeye). PAVE Audits: Complete quarterly PAVE inspections and ensure Amazon and DOT compliance remain no less than a 4 out of 5 on the damage scale. Grounding & Ungrounding Process: Track grounded vehicles, log repair documentation, and quickly process vehicle ungrounding with Amazon fleet team representatives. Property & Safety Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet Amazon DSP brand, safety, and cleanliness standards. Maintain up-to-date registration, insurance, state inspection stickers, and Amazon fleet documentation in every vehicle. 3. Operational Support & Route Assistance Dispatch & Staging Support: Assist the dispatch team during morning wave load-out to ensure all assigned vehicles are functional, clean, and positioned for DAs. Driving & Rescue Operations: Serve as a backup driver when necessary, stepping in to run delivery routes, perform route rescues, or transport vehicles to and from repair facilities. Accident & Claims Management: Respond to on-road vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or incidents. Secure accident reports, photos, driver statements, and coordinate towing services when required. 4. Safety, Cost Control & Administration Fuel & Fleet Card Management: Oversee fleet fuel card distribution, track fuel economy, and audit charge usage across electric and gas fleets. Fuel & Fleet Card Management: Manage receipts and file fleet reibursement claims through Cortex and audit tracking. Fleet Analytics: Track Fleet KPIs (maintenance costs per vehicle, vehicle downtime percentage, repair turnaround time) and report findings to the DSP Owner and Operations Manager. Inventory Control: Maintain stock of spare parts, fluids, safety equipment (first aid kits, fire extinguishers, triangles, ice scrapers), and cleaning supplies. Qualifications & Requirements Age & Experience: MUST be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent (Associate/Bachelor's degree…
