POSITION SUMMARY: The Urbanscape & Seasonal Operations Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for Growing Green's urbanscaping department, with direct responsibility for planning, coordinating, and executing all urbanscape and holiday installations. This position is accountable for the successful completion, quality, efficiency, and profitability of installation operations, including scheduling, labor management, resource allocation, and customer satisfaction. In addition to managing installation operations, this position provides leadership, guidance, and accountability to the Urbanscaping Service Supervisor and the Design and Procurement Manager, ensuring their respective functions operate efficiently, meet performance expectations, and support departmental objectives. Through proactive planning, effective delegation, financial accountability, and strong cross-departmental communication, this manager drives operational excellence while fostering a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented team culture aligned with Growing Green's mission, vision, and core values. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Installation Operations Management Direct the planning, scheduling, coordination, execution, and quality of all urbanscape and holiday installations. Manage installation operations involving more than 350 urbanscape installations and 150 holiday installations annually. Ensure installations are completed safely, on schedule, within established budgets, and according to Growing Green's quality standards. Oversee labor scheduling, crew assignments, material staging, equipment availability, and installation logistics. Coordinate with Sales, Account Management, Design & Fabrication, Procurement, and other Operations departments to ensure accurate project handoffs and installation readiness. Anticipate operational challenges and proactively resolve scheduling, staffing, material, and project-related issues. Monitor installation progress, ensure timely completion of work orders and documentation, and communicate project status to appropriate stakeholders. Evaluate installation performance and implement improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and minimize avoidable return visits. Departmental Leadership and Oversight Provide direct leadership, coaching, and accountability to the Urbanscape Service Supervisor and Design and Procurement Manager. Establish clear performance expectations, departmental priorities, and measurable objectives for each direct report. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to review performance, address challenges, remove obstacles, and support professional development.
