Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their shipping, printing, and retail needs Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and cash drawer balancing Provide product demonstrations and upsell store services to enhance customer satisfaction Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain an attractive store layout through effective merchandising Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment to ensure product availability Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with customers and vendors Support supervising staff by overseeing daily store activities when needed Conduct retail sales transactions with accuracy using basic math skills Promote store products and services through proactive upselling strategies Experience Prior experience working in UPS is preferred or in retail sales or customer service is preferred; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential Supervising experience in a retail environment is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are necessary for engaging with customers professionally Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies will help you succeed Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and maintain a well-organized cash drawer Join us as a UPS Store Associate to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-notch service while developing your skills in retail operations!
