Duties Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures Lead and motivate retail sales associates to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize product visibility and sales potential Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience Support hiring processes by participating in interviewing, onboarding, employee orientation, and training new staff Oversee cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy Implement store policies related to pricing, purchasing, and sales management to optimize profitability Coordinate shift schedules, manage operational tasks, and ensure compliance with safety standards Experience Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail or grocery industry Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations Knowledge of retail math concepts such as pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales analysis Experience with employee recruitment, training & development, and performance management Familiarity with operational management tasks including merchandising, stock control, and store organization Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently with excellent time management skills Join us to lead a vibrant retail environment where your energy and expertise can make a real difference!
