Underage Purchaser Needed for Tobacco Compliance Checks (16-20 yrs old) Alaska
Manhattan Strategy GroupAbout The Program: Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) and LPE Associates has been contracted to conduct Federal Tobacco Compliance Checks in Alaska . MSG inspectors and Underage Purchasers will perform non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to underage person(s) is restricted. Who We Need: To complete these inspections, we need both a Federal credentialed Inspector and a underage person under the age of 21 to accompany the Inspector for the attempted tobacco purchase. Ideal purchasers will be 16 to 20 years old, have a strong work ethic, and have sufficient free time to complete the assigned inspections with the inspector. This will not interfere with the Underage Purchasers current education schedule. Underage Purchaser Requirements: Complete required online training course Travel to assigned tobacco retailers and attempt to purchase designated tobacco products Transfer tobacco evidence to Inspector custody after retailer purchase has been made. Support Inspectors with data entry for FDA reporting requirements. Willingness to testify in enforcement hearings Perks: Flexibility with schedule Competitive hourly compensation Real work experience with a Federal project Qualifications: Must be able to pass a background check. Must have a valid state ID to verify age prior to performing inspections. IDs will not be shared with tobacco retailers. Complete short online orientation session. Must be under the age of 21 when performing any compliance check. Access to a car is not needed for the Underage Purchaser.
