Unarmed Security Officer – Logistics Warehouse (Multiple Shifts) Company: Public Safety Services Location: Moreno Valley, CA 92555 Job Type: Full-time and part-time opportunities Pay: $17.00 per hour during probation; $17.40 per hour upon successful completion of probation. The rate will be at least $17.40 beginning January 1, 2027, regardless of probationary status. Job Description Public Safety Services is seeking dependable, professional, and observant Unarmed Security Officers for an expanding security operation at a busy logistics and distribution warehouse in Moreno Valley, California. We are recruiting multiple officers for first, second, and third shifts, with some immediate starts and additional staffing anticipated to begin around November 14, 2026. Successful applicants must be reliable, attentive, comfortable working independently, and capable of completing accurate electronic security reports. Available Shifts First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Third Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Full-time and part-time schedules may be available. Positions may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Some openings are associated with an anticipated peak-season staffing expansion through early January 2027. Continued assignments may be available based on client needs and company staffing requirements, but are not guaranteed. Primary Responsibilities Monitor and control employee, visitor, and vehicle access. Verify identification, badges, and authorization to enter the property. Conduct regular security patrols and assigned checkpoint inspections. Identify, document, and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security violations. Complete accurate electronic Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports. Communicate effectively with Dispatch, supervisors, employees, and visitors. Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies within established procedures. Follow post orders, safety requirements, and company policies. Maintain a professional uniform appearance and remain attentive throughout assigned shifts. Requirements Active California BSIS Guard Card required. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to communicate clearly and prepare accurate written reports. Comfortable using smartphones, electronic reporting applications, and security technology. Ability to remain alert and work independently during assigned shifts. Ability to perform required foot patrols and other essential duties, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. Willingness to work assigned weekends or holidays. Preferred Qualifications Previous security experience at warehouses, distribution centers, logistics facilities, or controlled-access properties. Experience with access control, security checkpoint scanning, electronic reporting systems, and truck gates. Familiarity with security incident documentation and emergency response procedures. Compensation Starting compensation is $17.00 per hour during probation, increasing to $17.40 upon successful completion. The company anticipates additional wage adjustments for 2027, with final rates subject to approval. All applicable minimum wage requirements will be observed.
