Turret Forklift Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Turret Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will operate specialized turret forklifts to efficiently handle, load, and unload materials within a fast-paced distribution environment. Your expertise in warehouse management and equipment operation will ensure smooth inventory flow, safe handling practices, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our logistics operations while maintaining a safe and productive workspace. * Must be certified* Duties Operate turret forklifts Load and unload shipments using forklift safety protocols, ensuring proper stacking and secure transportation of goods. Manage inventory through barcode scanning for logistics, updating warehouse management systems (WMS), and conducting regular stock counts. Assist with order picking using order picker equipment, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders. Maintain safety standards in production by adhering to OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols during all equipment operation and manual handling tasks. Support shipping & receiving processes by preparing items for dispatch and verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders. Perform basic equipment repairs and routine maintenance checks on forklifts and related machinery to ensure optimal performance. Skills Proven experience operating forklift types including reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers in a warehouse environment. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and barcode scanning for logistics. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, shipping & receiving procedures, and heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in production environments and best practices for forklift safety protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and materials handling with precision and care. Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments or inventory levels. Experience with materials handling equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and warehouse supervisors effectively.
