Burrow Global is seeking an experienced Turnaround Buyer to support a client facility in Beaumont, TX. This individual will be responsible for leading the procurement process for key material and service scopes, managing Request for Quotes (RFQs) end-to-end, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate brings dedicated turnaround procurement experience or a solid background in capital project sourcing within an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities RFQ Management: Independently manage the complete RFQ lifecycle from initial scope receipt through commercial evaluation, bid tabulations, and formal award recommendations. Sourcing & Supplier Relations: Drive sourcing activities, maintain active communication with vendors, and rigorously follow up to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery schedules. Turnaround Support: Manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously. Assist with day-to-day RFQ management during peak periods of Turnaround Scope of Work (SOW) development and ramp-up. Commercial Support: Assist with commercial reviews and contract negotiations to ensure favorable business terms (contract negotiation experience is a plus). Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with turnaround planning, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure material and service requirements align with project timelines. Additional Duties: Execute auxiliary procurement tasking as assigned by project leadership. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 3 to 5 years of strong, hands-on RFQ management experience. Domain Knowledge: Direct Turnaround procurement experience is highly preferred; Capital Project procurement experience may be considered in place of turnaround background. Software Proficiency: Enterprise Asset Management / Procurement software: IBM Maximo (required) Productivity Software: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with a strong track record of prioritizing high-volume tasks. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective supplier engagement.
