Trucking Dispatcher / Office Assistant

Job Title: Trucking Dispatcher / Office Assistant Job Summary: We are a family-owned and operated company committed to dependable service, open communication, and treating our team like family. The ideal candidate will support daily operations by managing dispatch tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a proactive self-starter who can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Assist with driver management and dispatch by answering calls, providing routing information, and supporting drivers throughout their schedules. Handle incoming calls from clients, brokers, and partners professionally. Accurately enter load details into our systems, update tracking information, and maintain digital paperwork using QuickBooks and other software. Resolve logistical issues promptly with a calm and proactive approach. Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications: Proficiency in office skills with experience using QuickBooks is a must-have. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build positive relationships with drivers, clients, and partners. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative without constant supervision. Comfortable with data entry, multi-line phone systems, and basic computer software; experience in trucking or logistics is a plus but not required. Prior experience in dispatching or office administration is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate with a positive attitude.
