Trucking Dispatcher – Transportation & Logistics Location: Wyndmere, ND (Remote / Work From Home Opportunity) Pay: Starting at $52,000 per year + Bonuses Job Type: Full-Time Benefits: Health Insurance Reimbursement, Bonus Opportunities, Remote Work Flexibility Job Description We are hiring a Trucking Dispatcher / Transportation Dispatcher near Wyndmere, ND, to coordinate daily trucking operations, manage driver schedules, and ensure efficient communication between drivers and customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, dependable individual who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced transportation environment. Work-from-home flexibility is available, with the opportunity to transition to a fully remote position after training. Previous experience in trucking, freight dispatch, transportation, or logistics is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate! Key Responsibilities Dispatch and coordinate daily operations for approximately 10 truck drivers. Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, routes, deliveries, and operational updates. Monitor driver activities and assist with scheduling changes, delays, and unexpected issues. Remain accessible to drivers during evenings, nights, and weekends as needed. Manage multiple drivers, schedules, and dispatch requests simultaneously. Utilize transportation management software (TMS) and dispatch systems to track operations. Maintain accurate dispatch records and update transportation information. Resolve scheduling conflicts and transportation challenges efficiently. Provide professional communication and support to drivers and customers. Ensure smooth day-to-day trucking and logistics operations. Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities. Basic computer skills and ability to learn new dispatch software. Ability to work independently in a remote or home-office environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Dependable, responsive, and comfortable handling time-sensitive situations. Flexibility to assist drivers outside regular business hours. Previous experience as a Truck Dispatcher, Freight Dispatcher, Logistics Coordinator, Transportation Coordinator, or Fleet Dispatcher is a plus.
