NOW HIRING – TRUCKING DISPATCHER AJC TRANSPORT INC. | HYBRID POSITION Location: East Point, GA Start Time: 11:00 AM Monday- Saturday Pay: $20 per hour Work Arrangement: On-Site + Remote AJC Transport Inc. is looking for an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Trucking Dispatcher to join our team. This is a hybrid position. The dispatcher must report to our warehouse in East Point, GA, daily at 11:00 AM to coordinate driver check-ins, verify freight, and prepare dispatch assignments. Once warehouse responsibilities are completed, the dispatcher may continue working remotely from home or a café. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES At the Warehouse: Check in all drivers and confirm attendance. Verify that each driver has all assigned freight before leaving the warehouse. Ensure freight is loaded onto the correct trucks. Create and distribute daily dispatch assignments. Confirm drivers understand their routes and delivery schedules. Resolve missing freight, loading issues, and route conflicts. Ensure drivers depart the warehouse on time. Remote Dispatch Duties: Monitor drivers, routes, and ETAs throughout the day. Communicate with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel. Provide timely updates regarding delays or delivery issues. Handle route changes and unexpected operational problems. Monitor driver Hours of Service (HOS) and ELD compliance. Maintain accurate dispatch records and daily reports. Prepare upcoming dispatch schedules. Remain available and responsive throughout scheduled working hours. REQUIREMENTS Minimum 1 year of trucking dispatch experience required. Experience managing multiple drivers and routes. Knowledge of box trucks and tractor-trailer operations. Understanding of DOT regulations, HOS, and ELD systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and email. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities. Must be punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented. Must have reliable transportation to the East Point warehouse. Must have a reliable internet connection for remote work. Experience with UPS operations and dedicated routes is a plus.
