Truck trailer Mechanic

Truck and Transport Mechanic RVP (Raymond Vauclair Projects) is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, outgoing, Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our rapidly growing company, specializing in heavy hauling and heavy construction. We offer year-round employment with opportunity for over-time in our brand-new facility located at 16 Symington Lane off the #1hwy just minutes from the east Perimeter. Preference will be given to Red Seal Journeyman. Duties, Responsibilities and Job Discription: Identify and analyze issues with equipment Work on equipment of several makes of trucks and trailers Completing major and minor repairs to trucks and trailers Diagnose faults or malfunctions Completing maintenance and service on trucks and trailers Work safely, compete task in a timely and tidy fashion Complete work orders, read and understand shop manuals Fluent in electrical systems Have some knowledge on small engines Adjust, repair or replace defective parts, and components Take daily direction and report to Shop Manager Able work with moderate supervision Other tasks assigned Employment Qualifications: Red Seal with Safety Certification Minimum 5 years’ experience Able to work in fast-paced environment Applicants must have own tools and safety boots Able to communicate clearly verbally and written Able to learn new processes and think on their feet Provide great attention to detail and take pride in their work Able to work indoors/outdoors Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive/comparable $50,000 to $90,000 Benefits: Comparable health benefits RRSP Match Schedule: 8, 8.5-hour shift Day shift, flexible Monday to Friday Please Send Resume and inquiries to: rvp Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour Benefits: Extended health care RRSP match Ability to commute/relocate: Navin, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person
