Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, including diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulic components Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and system inspections to prevent breakdowns Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to repair and assemble various mechanical parts efficiently Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial machinery safely during repair or maintenance procedures Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to accurately identify issues and implement solutions Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems involving machinery or HVAC systems Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty diesel engines and automotive repair Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, electrical testing devices, and schematics for repairs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling large components or equipment Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients about repair needs We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments where mechanical skill meets proactive problem-solving.
