Parts Consultant Overview Join the Campbell Supply Company team as a Parts Consultant and play a key role in delivering exceptional service and solutions to customers in the commercial truck and emergency vehicle industry. As a second-generation family-owned dealership with seven locations serving customers since 1967, we are committed to helping our employees grow and succeed. In this versatile role, you may support customers at the front parts counter, back parts counter, or phone room while helping drive sales, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have experience working with commercial truck parts and systems and possess knowledge of Freightliner, Western Star, and Isuzu trucks , as well as Cummins and Detroit Diesel engines . Duties Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their vehicles and equipment Assist customers with parts needs for Freightliner, Western Star, and Isuzu trucks , as well as Cummins and Detroit Diesel engines Support customers at the front counter, back counter, and over the phone while providing product recommendations and technical guidance Utilize manufacturer catalogs, VIN lookups, and dealership software to accurately identify and source parts Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery or customer pickup Promote additional products and services through upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase sales and gross profit Work closely with service technicians and customers to provide solutions for repair and maintenance needs Monitor inventory levels and communicate stocking needs to management to maintain product availability Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fleet operators, owner-operators, and service personnel Utilize inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems to research, quote, order, and track parts Participate in ongoing training to stay current on OEM products, industry trends, and company processes Maintain accurate records of parts sales, customer interactions, and inventory transactions Qualifications Previous experience in heavy-duty truck, automotive, diesel, or dealership parts sales preferred Strong knowledge of commercial truck parts and systems, including Freightliner, Western Star, and Isuzu vehicles Familiarity with Cummins and Detroit Diesel engine platforms and related components Ability to identify and source parts using manufacturer catalogs, VIN lookups, and electronic parts systems Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills Mechanical aptitude and understanding of truck and diesel engine components highly preferred Proficiency with inventory management systems, dealership software, and point-of-sale (POS) systems Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities Sales-oriented mindset with a desire to exceed goals and contribute to department growth High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) LifeMart Employee Discount Program Education Reimbursement Opportunities Career Growth and Development Family-Owned Company Culture with Long-Term Stability Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Referral program Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Work Location: In person
