Duties Safely operate your commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring secure and damage-free deliveries Conduct routine inspections of your vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and other critical systems to maintain optimal performance Manage freight documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logs for accurate record-keeping Perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate with mechanics for maintenance needs to minimize downtime Operate heavy equipment like forklifts for loading and unloading cargo efficiently and safely Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting common vehicle issues Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance requirements Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, unloading, and long hours on the road Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Embark on a rewarding journey as a Truck Owner Operator—where your skills drive success!
