Truck Mechanic -310T / Level 2–3 Apprentices

Job Description A busy and well-equipped truck and trailer repair facility in Burlington, ON is currently seeking a 310T Truck and Coach Technician . Level 2 or Level 3 Apprentices are also encouraged to apply. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced and motivated technician to join a professional, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This role involves everything from routine servicing to complex mechanical and electrical repairs. You will work with modern tools and diagnostic equipment alongside a skilled and supportive team. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with safety and regulatory standards Use diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues Complete service reports and repair orders with clear documentation Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate effectively with team members and service coordinators regarding repair status Stay current with new technologies, equipment, and industry best practices What We’re Looking For We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and performs well in a hands-on, team-oriented setting. Required Qualifications & Skills 310T Licensed Technician OR Level 2 / Level 3 Apprentice Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in truck and trailer repair Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills Experience with modern diagnostic tools and software Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and time-management abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Own basic tools (specialty and diagnostic tools provided on-site) Valid G Driver’s License (DZ or AZ license is an asset) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour Work Location: In person
