West Tech MobileWe are a Trucks and Trailers repairs shop based in Calgary, AB and we are looking for an experienced Light and Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to work along our team of Mechanics and Apprentices. Job Duties: Perform preventive maintenance activities and repairs on heavy or light duty trucks and trailers and heavy equipment. Diagnose faults, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical and engine issues, air brakes, air conditioning etc. Engine rebuilding Complete and keep proper documentation and records associated with equipment repairs. Attend service calls for roadside repairs as needed . Complete CVIP inspections. Mentor apprentices and technicians, perform quality checks Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Comply with established company's policies and procedures and Occupational Health and Safety regulations Qualifications: Licensed Truck Mechanic, minimum 5 years experience in Truck repairs Experience with software diagnostics , very good troubleshooting skills Valid Class 5 Driving License with clean driving record, Class 1 or 3 Driving License is an asset Ability to work independently and unsupervised Strong problem solving and organizational skills Team player Job Type: Full-time Pay: $37.00-$45.00 per hour Benefits: Extended health care Paid time off Experience: truck and trailers repairs: 5 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred) Truck Mechanic Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person
