Truck Loader/Unloader

Job Summary As a Truck Loader/Unloader, you’ll keep warehouse distribution moving by loading and unloading freight safely and accurately. You’ll use material handling equipment to move products, support shipping and receiving, and help maintain organized inventory. This hands-on role suits someone who works carefully, communicates clearly, and is ready for physical work. Responsibilities Load and unload trucks, move materials, and stage orders for shipment or storage. Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, clamp trucks, and cranes when trained and authorized. Use an RF (radio frequency) scanner to track freight and support inventory management. Check shipment details, perform basic math as needed, and follow warehouse procedures and safety protocols, including applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Your impact: Accurate, safe freight handling helps warehouse teams keep orders organized and ready for customers. Skills Essential: Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely, follow safety protocols, and handle materials throughout a shift. Essential: Basic math skills and readiness to learn warehouse operations, order picking, and shipping and receiving processes. Preferred: Warehouse experience, including warehouse distribution, inventory management, or order picking. Preferred: Experience operating heavy equipment or material handling equipment, such as a forklift, pallet jack, order picker, clamp truck, or crane. Preferred: Warehouse supervisor experience.
