Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Truck Jockey/Dock Worker on the first shift, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you'll be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse and dock areas. Your proactive approach will ensure timely shipments, accurate order picking, and safe handling of heavy equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling while contributing to a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Key Accountabilities (results expected to achieve) : Deliver Finished Goods and Raw Goods between CPC Mora locations in accordance with company policy to meet or exceed company goals for safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Key Responsibilities (tasks that you do to achieve the accountabilities) : Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded. Responsible for the transportation of materials between the building locations. Sort returnable packaging and label correctly. Perform all powered vehicle (forklift, Semi, Truck, …) inspections using their respective check sheets before use every day. Report any damage or issues to supervisor/lead for MSO submission. Load and unload trucks. Inspect shipments for damage (loading or unloading) and report any damage to supervisor. Assists with inventory counts, as needed. Clean and organize work environment to comply with 5S and safety standards. Operates Forklift Performs all other assignments as required. Qualities for Success: Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to drive a semi with manual transmission and haul 53’ trailer. Must be able to hook and unhook trailers. 2+ years related experience. Forklift certification (or ability to receive certificate with company) High school diploma or GED required. Must have basic English language comprehension and reading skills. Must have basic computer skills. Able to work overtime hours according to business need. Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks. Have a positive attitude and work well with others. Able to multi-task and work in a moderate to fast paced environment Pays close attention to details and follows directions. Dedicated to safe practices. Physical & Mental Demands: Able to lift 55 lbs. up to shoulder height daily on an on-going basis without assistance. Able to lift 50 lbs. above head occasionally. Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Respond to sound and light. Work Environment: This position is often required to conduct business on the manufacturing floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk.
